This information is provided in accordance with the German Car Energy Consumption Labeling Ordinance. The stated values were determined using the prescribed WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light-Duty Vehicles Test Procedures) measurement method. A car’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions depend not only on the car’s efficient use of fuel, but also on driving style and other non-technical factors. CO2 is the greenhouse gas primarily responsible for global warming. A guide to the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of all new car models offered in Germany is available free of charge at every sales outlet in Germany where new cars are displayed or offered. CO2 emissions generated or avoided by the production and provision of the car and the fuel or energy sources are not taken into account when determining CO2 emissions according to WLTP. Official figures on fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, power consumption and electric range were determined using the prescribed measuring method and correspond to Regulation (EU) 715/2007 in the currently applicable version. WLTP values are used to calculate taxes and other vehicle-related charges that are (also) based on CO2 emissions, and if applicable for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies. For vehicles newly type-approved since January 1, 2021, the official figures are only available according to WLTP.
